Reso discovered the art of graffiti writing in the mid 80´s. From 1988 on, he has painted several hundred murals worldwide and has since become an internationally renowned graffiti artist. For years now his paintings on canvas have been exhibited in numerous shows and also sold at exclusive auctions (e.g. Bonhams/ London and Artcurial/ Paris). Mixing graffiti techniques and art concepts, his unique style combines rough urban art aesthetics with the clean precise lines of his elegant trademark lettering. Since 2010, Reso has started sculptures, pioneering by creating yet another unexplored side of graffiti. He liberates styles from their static two-dimensionality by creating something palpable. From April until November 2011, Reso participated in Europe’s largest Urban Art Show “Urban Art – Graffiti 21” at the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, ‘’Völklingen Ironworks“ (Berlin, Germany), which he also curated. German television made a 45 min documentary about his activities in 2011 by following him to New York, Paris and Montreal.
